About Me!

I have been amazed by the natural world my entire life.  As a teenager, I realized that I saw the world differently than most.  Sadly, many people live fast paced lives with blinders on that preclude them from really seeing the beauty all around.  I on the other hand, am constantly exploring and discovering.  I walk the back streets, hike deep into the wilderness, drive through old, forgotten towns....anything to connect with the authentic experience of life.  I truly believe life is about the journey, not the destination.

I live in Fort Collins, Colorado with my wife and four children.  I'm a native of Colorado and can tell you that it is one of the most spectacular places on earth.  I often hike and camp high up in the majestic Rocky Mountains where I paint and fly fish for Brown, Rainbow, and Native Greenback Cutthroat Trout.  I also enjoy heading to the eastern plains of Colorado to paint the wide open Prairie where you can stand beneath the huge sky, and see for miles.  When you are out there by yourself, among the prairie grasses, with no buildings or people around and only the bristling sound of the wind or the screech from a hawk soaring above you realize it is a sacred, timeless place and you are one with it.

God has graciously provided me with the ability to SEE and Paint and I am trying my best to do HIS will with these gifts.
